What does DoomStopper actually do?
It hooks into iOS Screen Time to detect when you open apps you've marked as distractions. Before they load, it makes you type a one-line reason — and five minutes later, it asks whether you actually did the thing. Honesty is the whole mechanic.
Is my data private?
Yes. The intention notes you type stay on your device. There's no account system, no cloud sync, no analytics on what you wrote. We can't see it even if we wanted to.
When does it launch?
iOS first. We're onboarding the waitlist in waves through the rest of the year. Android is on the roadmap after the iOS launch is stable.
Why a focus buddy? Isn't that gimmicky?
